Start the new gardening season with an initial technical inspection of your stihl/viking, briggsstratton, al-ko, felco motorized tools. We have some recommendations for this!
It's time to wake up your garden equipment from its winter sleep!
Remove the equipment from storage and make sure it's ready for use before starting. The notes provided below will assist you in this matter.
Note: before starting your garden equipment, read the maintenance and repair information in the instruction manual thoroughly!
Make sure the spark plugs are in good condition.
Check the air filter. Clean or replace it if dirt or damage is found (use a brush or air compressor).
Inspect your equipment for any worn or malfunctioning parts. If such issues are discovered, replace the part before starting.
Inspect screws and nuts, and replace them if necessary.
Regularly tension and replace the chains on your motorized saw.
Check the cutting lines (strimmer) on your motorized trimmer and replace them if needed.
Lubricate friction points.
Make sure that the cables of your electrical equipment are undamaged and properly connected.
When preparing the fuel mixture, mix gasoline (a-92) and fresh stihl hp 2-stroke engine oil in a clean container. Remember!! For 2-stroke stihl, al-ko engines, mix 20 ml of stihl hp oil per 1 liter of gasoline! The shelf life of the mixed oil-gasoline blend is a maximum of 2 weeks!!
Check the oil of your 4-stroke engine stihl/viking, al-ko lawn mowers, mini-tractors, etc., and change it if necessary. Change the engine oil of 4-stroke garden equipment after 48 working hours!!
Do not start unused equipment immediately for a new season. Before starting, wait a few minutes for the engine of your garden equipment to warm up.
